I have 49 megs of memory,I sometimes get a causeway error or it will
lock up but most of the time it just reboots on me, no warning or error
just reboots.

Looks like a memory problem. (Not lack of memory, but some
kind of parity error or something similar, perhaps in an area
of memory that isn't accessed by most programs. I think
Causeway tries to use _all_ available memory.)
If you send Rob Craig the causeway error message, he can probably give more
info on what is wrong.

How do you get 49 megs (SIMM/DIMM combination)?
Other useful information is: Motherboard (VX,TX,HX chipset?), OS, HDD (free
space), etc...

It looks like 48 Megs: In my PC the self test reports 49.152, that is really
48 Megs (48*1024).
