Bob Pilkington - I don't know exactly what you are trying to do, but the trigonometry is easy. Try arctan (yv / xv ) = angle. Catch: If your software produces this result in radians and you want degrees, or vice versa, you have another step: degrees = radians x 2 x pi or the converse, radians = degrees / 2 pi Wally Riley wryly at mindspring.com
