Right. I've been putting it off for long enough: THE EUPHORIA DISKMAG You may remember me ranting on about this a couple of months ago, but now I've decided I'm definitely going to do it. I've got my GCSEs (Exams at 16, for all you people not in the UK) over the next two months, and I thought I'd give you all this time to write your articles, jokes, anecdotes, tutorials, FAQs, etc, then I'll compile them all once the exams are over. The deadline is 20th of June, so get scribbling! -- Stephen Spencer stephen.spencer at usa.net http://members.xoom.com/sspencer p.s. I might be pestering a few of the important people on this list with mini-questionnares in a while, so watch out!

I had this article of mine laying around here. I wrote it after seeing some of ignorant reviews of Euphoria by for example C-Net. They reviewer obviously didn't give Euphoria much chance. Here's a review that does list all of Euphoria's elegance, althrough it is a bit long. It is attached as HTML. Please people, add and chance as much as you like. It is suppose to be clear and complete. It sounds very objective but it is indeed a very subjective article. It is written in co-operation with MS Grammer checking with all options enabled. It even complained about starting sentences with 'but' and writing stuff in the passive form. (ugly) So I suppose, for once, the grammer and spelling are ok, unlike with this message Ralf Nieuwenhuijsen nieuwen at xs4all.nl ------=_NextPart_000_0011_01BD76EC.92E85120 name="Euphoria.html" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

You probably should not start a sentence with 'but' in the type of document you are writing; that type of usage is for fiction. The same is also true for the passive form. (Hey, I've got the credentials allowing me to say this kind of stuff. When I took the ACT, I got a perfect score on both the usage/mechanics of English and rhetorical skills.) Regards, Michael Bolin
