to be a beta tester (I should have linux configured by then, I hope!). Dunno

That might be nice. Though I've already seen some terrible graphics in
Linux. Apparently it is not so easy to do there?

Seems like it should be possible. After all, it's C code, right? I mean,
back some time ago, I seem to recall being told how C was so portable...
Heck, that was the reason I got into it to begin with. I had an old (don't
laugh) TRS-80 Model III and wanted to be able to freely exchange programs with
my wonderful new 8086 machine. ;')
