Sometimes when I'm in DOS, it won't let me do alt+enter to put it in a window. I just had to exit the DOS prompt, and when i did it beeped after it closed. _________________ "When it comes to programming languages, Eu™ by RDS is a cut above" - Matt1278 and SoftPrez Webbers: softprez at juno.com, president of SoftCo.® Uh, no slogan at the moment™ Seeya next week!

I know what you mean. I sometimes have the same problem when I try to run older programs for DOS in this Win95 DOS screen thing. My guess is that is has something to do with graphics and sound. Sometimes you get an error message that says something like: This Prog uses graphics which cannot be displayed under Windows. Sometimes the prog is just running slow or making weird noises which come from my SoundBlaster. I think Micro$oft just didn't spent enough time to make Win95 and Dos fully compatibel. You should write a special startup sequence for Dos for this prog. Maybe this is just an result of device drivers for Win which don't work with DOS. C' ya, Da Guru
