There should be some DOS drivers for the card you have, or some generic ones on the web though. > >and when my monitor cacked at 1024x768x256 > my monitor acts weird at 800x600x16 If you've got some DOS drivers for your card, load them in in CONFIG.SYS or AUTOEXEC.BAT, so they start before Windows. Then, (or just try this anyway, Win9x resets to normal after 15 seconds or when you press 'Esc') if you've got Win9x, use the Display Properties dialog to change the refresh rate setting from "Optimal" (which '95 has no idea what to do) to "Adapter". The DOS settings (or Card standards) should take effect. As soon as I did this, 1024x768x256x43iMhz suddenly started working, but I can't guarantee success in anyone else's case.
