so i was assembling some code for MVM, and i ended up getting this causeway
error that brought down the whole interpreter. i put in a crash routine to tell
me what line number it crashed on, and it ended up pointing to a blank line, so i
figured it couldn't be right. turns out it was. the line only had 2 spaces on it,
which messed up one of my functions, causing the assembler to try to process a
blank line :P

wow, really? If I had a problem like that, I'd almost *want* to provide more
details...
