I agree, it's cool, but I like the plain old LISTSERV mostly graphics- free look. I also liked the way it would separate messages in months. I've inquired with topica about the possibility of catagorizing the list.. IE.. by date (Weeks,Months,Years) by subject matter (Wish list, Projects, Discussion, Q & A) Also I asked about different search options.. When you're reading a post from the interface, instead of clicking reply, click on their name within the message (upper right of the message) Chris Al Getz wrote: > Yeah i noticed now that the postees email address doest show anymore. > What if you wish to email someone directly about sometime they posted? > > AL ____________________________________________________________ T O P I C A -- Learn More. I guess the new Topica is okay. I did like the old Listserv better, here are a few issues: I read the messages at work through the web interface on a SunOS machine using netscape. The font is tiny. If I jack up the size of the font, then fonts in other web pages are giant. The old Listserv would number the messages. After reading to a certain point, I could write down the number of the last message and find it again later. Of course, Topica has the date, so that might be useful. But I think numbering /and/ dates would be the best. I do like having a next message link at the bottom so I don't have to scroll back to the top to move to the next message.
