Hi All, I just submitted a Speech library that supports both Text To Speech and Speech To Text. It is real easy to use and I included a few demos. The source is not commented, but for the most part the demos are easy to follow. If you do not have a Speech Engine on your system, you can download the MS Speech SDK that will install the necessary files on your system. Download the MS SDK here: http://www.microsoft.com/speech/download/sdk51/ ----If you continue to do what you have always done, you will get what you have always gotten.----

Looks interesting, Mr. Bouzy. Jeremy Edmund Burke: "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

I downloaded the Speech Library by C Bouzy, & the Text to Speech part runs ok on an xp system, but not on a w98 laptop; error says: "Application error: instruction at 100016bb referenced mem at ffffffff, memory could not be read". Further click on error says: "EXW caused invalid page fault in module Speech.dll at 0167:100016bb". I notice that the Contributions entry says: "If it crashes, you may need to install the MS Speech SDK 5.1.", but how do I do that? Dan Moyer

I don't remember exactly what I had to install. You'll have to read the description. Regards, Rob Craig Rapid Deployment Software http://www.RapidEuphoria.com
