1. RE: Wht is this board so... slow

Actually, I don't think this is the case Rob.

I post here *maybe* every couple months and my messages can still take 
upwards of 30-45 minutes to show up.  When I do, my responses are rarely 
within an hour of each other.  I have just come to accept the 
lag, but this particular feature shouldn't be gimping my posts???

Anyways, just thought I would toss in my experience.

If you post via Topica, you will often experience long delays
due to congestion at Topica. The delay feature that I added only
affects maybe 2 or 3 percent of all posts. It delays the message
by anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes, depending on how off-topic
it appears to be. I doubt that it ever affected you.

Most direct message board posts go through within 2 to 3 minutes.
