Hey, I did it! I modified my Windows hardware setup and it erased LILO. I couldn't get into Linux anymore and I just sat down, poked around and figured out how to get it back up again (I'm posting this from Linux). Well, maybe now I'll get serious and really learn this animal. Any of you Linux gurus out there, can you recommend site(s) for a newbie who probably has lots of questions? Thanks, Jonas

FreeBSD! FreeBSD! > Not that FreeBSD has a better chance than than Linux if the bill making DRM mandatory passes... It would be possible for big companies such as RedHat to sell DRM-patched and certified linux distros (and a similar company to sell FreeBSD in the same manner) tho, but the age of downloading an OS for zero cost will still be gone (unless you download the OS for free and buy the certified patch, or soemthing like that). jbrown -- /"\ ASCII ribbon | http://www.geocities.com/jbrown1050/ \ / campain against | Linux User:190064 X HTML in e-mail and | Linux Machine:84163 /*\ news, and unneeded MIME | http://verify.stanford.edu/evote.html
