Hello there,

I had the same problem, and i asked what went wrong and i
was told that the library was tested on Win2000, and i was
using Win98, so i assumed he was doing something that wasnt
allowed on Win98. He did say it worked on Win2000 though.

What is it you want to do, because there is another
lib called "GD" in the archive that i've partly tested and it
seems to work much better. In particular, the Jpg decomp routine
is quite fast, and the main guts come from ijg too.

Take care,
Al

Hello again,

If you cant get cximage to work on Win98 you can always
download the viewer program in the archive. It contains
a file called "Als_dj.exe" that turns jpgs into bmps or
even gifs. It's a 154k file, and you can see how to use it
by examining the file "JpgToBmp.e" .
To find the archive, type in "Viewer for Jpg" in the search
engine edit box. Make sure "WIN" is checked.

Take care for now,
Al
