1. CxImage problems...

I downloaded the CxImage library and wrapper from the contributions page...
written by someone called Mic.

Trying to run the example program, a invalid memory location error occurs
within exw.exe itself, and exw crashes.

Now I know it's a bit much asking for help on a wrapper someone else has
written, so I ask; who is mic? There's no documentation in the *zip file,
other than it was written by Mic, in 2003.

What OS do you use, and what version of Euphoria ?

That would be me.

There are descriptions of the routines at the top of cximage.ew, but i
suppose that isn't the most obvious place to look.

3. Re: CxImage problems...

Ah, hello Mic!

I'm running 2.3 complete edition atm, on Win98SE.

All I want to do with the library is convert jpg files to bitmap. No
alterations are needed.

Ok, it seems like Win98 doesn't like CxImage. I don't understand why - after
all, it uses well-known components such as zlib, libjpg, libpng etc. I don't
have any way of testing code on Win98 so unless you're willing to figure out
and solve the problem yourself i suggest you simply give up and try some
other library..

Yeah, that's what i use it for myself, converting batches of images from jpg
to bmp or the other way around.
