Does anyone know about a HP 1600A Logic State Analyzer? It's got 16 channels in, plus trigger channels. Zero paperwork with it. I "inherited" before it got to a trash heap. Kat

Hello Kat, Maybe this web site might be useful? http://www.classiccmp.org/ Subscribe to one of their email lists at: http://www.classiccmp.org/lists.html It is a high volume list (100 plus messages a day) but I'm amazed at the stuff I saw. One thread was on a Z80 machine from the 1980's called the "Jupiter Ace" which was a micro computer that instead of running BASIC ran FORTH instead. I coded some software on that box in my early teens and sold it to a software house and made my first 100 quid (pounds sterling)! Ah memories... I digress... Someone on the classiccmp list had a faulty Jupiter Ace and needed help. Suggestions were made to use logic testers/analyers and the like so maybe this list could help you with your query re: your HP logic state analyser? Regards, Andy Cranston.
