1. Diamond 3.0 question

I've only been looking at the new version for about 3 minutes now, so 
maybe I'll be able to find my answer -- but where is this_method()?  
Does it have a new alternative?

I dropped this_method() during the revision: I never used it in my own code.
But I you find it useful, I would be happy to restore it (as well as
this_event()).
