Hi Igor, Two or three years ago I worked on a program to display .ttf fonts under DOS, and also to convert TTFs to Jiri Babor-style fonts. I didn't quite finish it because of difficulties in writing an interpreter to read the "hinting" instructions which are necessary for Truetype fonts to be readable at small point sizes. I did get pretty far along and I would be happy to share my work with you, if you are interested.
