I finally got it, i think the problem was the 150 ( i counted them ) additional web fetches on the one page. Kat

Were the 150 fetches taking so long to fetch, or do you tell your browser not to display anything with that many fetches. By "fetch," I take it to mean "off page" or "off site" retrieval of data... Am I right?! :)

It's a nearly useless message board that takes an hour to read 20 messages, just because of the asthetic preferences of the webpage designer. Not gonna do it. Kat

I too have dialup, and everything runs fine. kat wrote: >It's a nearly useless message > board that takes an hour to read 20 messages, just because of the asthetic > preferences of the webpage designer. Not gonna do it. Useless message board!!! i suppose you would be of any use on the board. i took long hours to make that site and i will not just watch people just drowning it. Remember, your reaction when strtok didn't get enuff attention. Always remember to look what is on your nose before looking at others. Have a nice day.

It is useless for me if i cannot use it! I know people who write javascript pages, i don't visit those either. > Remember, your reaction when strtok didn't get enuff attention. I don't even have it online for download anymore. > Have a nice day. You too. Kat

The 302 says "that's a good url, but it's not here, i know where it is though...", then the server gives a Location: field in the header to tell the browser where it is. It's like 404 = "bad url or not here, and i don't have a clue", or 200 = "good url, and i have that here, i'll be sending it along....". There's lots more of them. Kat
