That's a Topica bug. I've noticed that if a line starts with "From", Topica might quote it as ">From". Maybe it's because "From" can appear at the start of an e-mail header line. Of course that should all happen invisibly. Topic probably does not handle it properly for all format/encoding settings, but if you want you can change them at your end. I think I'm the only person on this list that uses Forte Agent, so the rest of this paragraph may not be directly relevant: under Group, Default Properties, I can set the format to Mime, UUEncoded[*], or yEnc, and the attachment placement as Attachment[*], Inline Mime, or In Text Body. Also, I can set the encoding via Options, General Preferences, Languages, as 7/8 bit (aka plain text), Quoted Printable[*], or Base 64. ([*] indicate my current settings). The first rule, or course, is make a note of *everything* you change, so you can put it back if it does not work. =46or other software, try http://www.panix.com/~donwiss/listowner/mailconf.txt or google eg: pegasus quoted printable base 64 If it all seems a bit too complicated, that's probably because it is. I guess it all depends how much it annoys you and how much time you want to spend moaning at Topica and watching them do nothing, or if you are prepared to poke and prod it until it works Pete

No answer or change of any kind. CChris

I found the following link by searching google on outlook font: http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/outlook2000/fontsend.aspx?v=3Dt In agent you can just check Message, Fixed Pitch Font. If you are posting via the web page, in Internet explorer, check the "ignore font styles specified on web pages" option under View, Internet Options, Accessibility, then under View, Internet Options, =46onts pick whatever fonts suit you. I'm still running IE 4.0 so those details may be out of date. Pete
