1. I need more help

I am using the & statement to combine some sequences into one string, but
it is not working:

s[2][1] = s[2][1] & '\\' -- Results in s[2][1]
s[2][2] = s[2][2] & '\\' -- Results in s[2][2]
system("move " & s[2][1] & files[i][D_NAME] & " " & s[2][2] &
ToChars(count),2)
-- Results in system("move " & s[2][1])

I don't understand why there is this problem.

Instead of '\\', try "\\".

The problem seems to lie in the 3rd line. I myself am not sure what you a=
re
feeding
to the system command. I would suggest declaring a 'help' string variable=

(a one dimensional sequence). If you printf this variable, you could
probably see what you are feeding the system call!
