Hi all,
I'm willing to improve EuFTP but need help. Attached is what I would like
EuFTP look in the near-near future:
a) Open/Save buttons to retrive/store server/user/password combinations
(I hate to retype the same each time I want to FTP).
b) Choose between Auto (default), binary or ascii transfer. Auto is easy
to implement, just have a list of most common file extension and their
corresponding transfer method.
c) Listboxes with local and remote current_dir files/directories. The
first element should be a ".." for CDUP.
d) Selecting a file on the listbox and pressing the corresponding
upload/download button.
e) Close session button
f) A status line that tells the user what's going on. Common messages:
"Waiting for connection", "Connecting to server", "Changing current
directory", "Uploading file", "Downloading file", "Transfer completed",
etc...
g) Right clicking on local/remote listbox shows a pop-up menu with
options for deleting/renaming file, creating/deleting directories and for
direct CWD.
I hope someone knows how to code this dialog box in Euphoria. I made it with
VC++ 4.0 integrated dialog editor and have no idea how to use the .rc, .res
or .rct for calling win32 from Euphoria. I have no idea of how to do the
right-click stuff either.
