David, there's a bug in your editor - it seems not to properly handle opening a file that's named on the command line or in ex.err with a full pathname that's not in the current directory (and, in the case of ex.err, also not in %EUDIR\INCLUDE). It opens a (empty) window with the correct short name, but appears to ignore the supplied path. -- Jeff Zeitlin jeff.zeitlin at mail.execnet.com
