I don't use GTK, but I stumbled on this site the other day. Maybe this can help
you. There are links to more modern GTK distros maintained here.

Additionally, GTK Server looks like an interesting project that Euphoria might
want to be adapted to. (If it hasn't been already :)

GTK Server works on Linux and Win32 with a lot of scripting languages not
normally thought to be gui friendly, like AWK and BASH!

AFAIK, however, you can install the latest version of GIMP, and it will
install the GTK libs as well. You'll have to adjust the eugtk code to match the
version you download, I guess.

One of the first modifications I did to the library was allow the mixing of
versions. If you're using a GTK+ version < 2.10, you'll probably get a
console page of warnings that don't go away by using "without warning". I
need to add a command-line parameter to shut that off. I'll check the links
on the Sourceforge site later today to make sure they're pointing to the
right place.
