Al: I was looking at your check register program for my wife to use. She now is using an old win version of Quicken but it has too many features. I was looking at your check register program and I think it looks very easy to use. The only problem is that it only has 1 register and no way second register for a saving account with a way to transfer between the two. Also there needs to be some method to adjust the display colors. An simple way to do backup/restore like a simple copy after so many transactions to some back up directory. Maybe you could do a rewrite using your winclass library. Bernie My files in archive: WMOTOR, XMOTOR, W32ENGIN, MIXEDLIB, EU_ENGIN, WIN32ERU, WIN32API Can be downloaded here: http://www.rapideuphoria.com/cgi-bin/asearch.exu?dos=on&win=on&lnx=on&gen=on&keywords=bernie+ryan

I realized that there are a few other things i wanted in that software too and that it is harder to modify than with a program written with the WinClass library. But anyway, i have modified the program to auto back up the register to another hard drive or removeable USB drive and you can change the path in an .ini file. If you want that copy i could send you one or else upload to the Eu Archive. The new version also has search, but it's rather simple in that it opens the register file in a text editor which has search built in. It works though I guess i could make the WinClass version open source too so others can modify as they wish. Take care, Al E boa sorte com sua programacao Euphoria!
