Jordah: The font on the first web page (SCO/Unix message) is difficult to read. On the fourms web page at the last line there is some type of error message. The site looks very nice. Bernie

Hi Jordah, Thanks for the info ... actually I was after someone else to host and update the FAQ (and if possible any of my other projects!!!). Since I'm no longer using Euphoria I'm afraid that if no one takes over they will slowly (probably quickly:)) just fade into a distant memory (maybe they already have?). If anyone is interested at taking over any of my projects (check them out at http://rays-web.com) email me at ray at rays-web.com with your interests. Hi Kat, > Why aren't you using Eu anymore? There are lots of reasons why I'm not using Euphoria anymore ... including: * I have less time and the time I do have I pursue other interests (outside computing), * I'm dissapointed with the number of Euphoria programmers worldwide (I'm not interested in what it "could" be like in 5 years), * I've become very much an "Open Source" advocate and am very interested in projects such as Python (but because of point 1 above I haven't put time aside to play with python either!), * I'm dissapointed with the development of Euphoria (the base language from RDS as well as contributed libraries), Saying all that, I enjoyed playing with Euphoria, had lots of fun and learn't quiet a bit. But I find when it comes down to doing some of the specific tasks I'd like to do other langauges are more appealing than Euphoria. > It won't come in here, is it still up? I noticed this morning my site was down as well ... I just checked now and it was up again. I guess my web host is having some problems today? Try again :) Regards, Ray Smith http://rays-web.com gertie at visionsix.com wrote: > > On 12 May 2003, at 22:54, Ray Smith wrote: > > > > > Hi Jordah, > > > > Thanks for the info ... > > > > actually I was after someone else to host and update the FAQ (and if > > possible any of my other projects!!!). > > Since I'm no longer using Euphoria I'm afraid that if no one takes > > over they will slowly (probably quickly:)) just fade into a distant > > memory (maybe they already have?). > > > > If anyone is interested at taking over any of my projects > > (check them out at http://rays-web.com) > > email me at ray at rays-web.com with your interests. > > > Kat
