1. Re: Example of code I posted..

So Thomas Parslow has taken the time to write a library that extends the
graphical aspect of Windows UI functionality. No one had hinted to me that
that was the case.

I have been to the RDS Web site browsing user contributions quite a bit
lately, and hadn't taken note of irregular.ew. The way everyone on the list
talks about Win32Lib, it sounds as if it should be (or its developers' goal
is for it to be) "all you need" to write the most bodacious Windows programs
possible in Euphoria. That is the impression one gets, the impression I got
anyway.

Rather than having a "random" collection of user-contributed libraries,
wouldn't it be nice if someone categorized or indexed them helpfully? And
wrote an indexed book or help file that will tell us what we need to do a
particular task? The search facility on the Web site is helpful, but I think
it falls short of what is needed.

Maybe Travis Beatty will expand Encyclopedia Euphoria in time to encompass
some -> most -> all of the lieburies. I'll see if I can talk him into it.
8^) Might even get involved in the effort myself.

The problem with having good ideas is that people (to some extent
rightfully) expect you turn around and implement them.
