Seems to me, Euphoria is slowing down my start up! I get a lot of =
complaints about this:

"Thomas the start ups too slow"
"This computer takes forever!"=20

They are right.

My question: What's this?

SET EUDIR=3DD:\EUPHORIA
PATH %PATH%;D:\EUPHORIA\BIN

It's made a whole new little MS-DOS "pop-up" in my startup. Is it =
nesessary?=20
How can I speed up my startup?

This sets up your Euphoria path and Euphoria directory (which ex, exw, exu
and ec need to know). Its there so you can just type "ex filename" anywhere
in your directory structure and have ex execute from D:\EUPHORIA\BIN\EX.EXE

I seriously doubt that this is the cause of your slow startup.

Hmm. Looks like you have it in your startup folder under
Programs on your Start menu.

WRONG Place to have it. In fact, It is useless there.
Those commands are suppose to be placed in your autoexec.bat
file. If you are running NT, which I doubt, then you must
seek an NT professional on where it is suppose to be.
Good luck.
