Thanks, Alan, Hawke', and Jeffrey.  I have used peices of all that all
of you have provided.  Finally, thanks to the code given me by Jeffrey,
I got the alarm clock program working.  It uses a "bugle.wav" file in
the directory that its run from and plays it at the specified time,
repeating it every 15 seconds.  With acknowledgements to all, the code
is supplied here in case anybody wants to do something similar.  ;')
