Dave have a look at NeoSofts programs and Solaris CDE. Multiple desktops are
handy.

HEY!!!. I just thought I would say to all those gui designers. A recent court
decision in Australia declared that computer programs thta were not designed to
cater for all users were *discrimantory*. Loosely translated: blind people can
not use a mouse therefore design a mouse only program was discrimination. This is
only a note to consider. But a more potent argument to some would be have you
every tried to use some programs when your mouse mysteriously stops working?

yeah, once my mouse AND my keyboard AND my
voice-recognition microphone AND my eyetracking
interface AND my joystick AND my VR gloves *all*
stopped working at the same time... was a horror!
it left me with my only recourse of computer
control being my thought-response neural interface.
whew! liked to sweat fixing that I'll tell ya!
