1. Re: recent GUI discussions

To all.
Read and enjoyed the recent discussions about GUI's and GUI standards,
which contained a comment that ....really " frightened" me.
( " Linux has it's own Gui's which someone will adapt " )
GOOD GRIEF.... please don't.
I play around in Linux a bit, but hardly ever under X Windows.
( Hey.. here's a neat program I'll download.. oops, only half of it shows
up on my screen.. guess I'll have to reconfigure X.. oops, it's in 10,000
by 10,000 resolution.. oops, my hardware doesn't support that.. damn' ,I
need a 21" monitor for this.. and so on. )
Linux just has too many GUI and gui_hardware "pseudo-standards" for it's
own good, and its GIGANTIC.

Whatever all you "pros" decide to work on, PLEASE do it together!

Not to put anyone's generous efforts down, I started using the EW32 stuff a
few weeks ago because, in spite of it's restrictions and size, I found that
as a "newbie", it was the easiest thing for me to use.

Keep up the GOOD work !!.. Wolf
