DJGPP requires an external DOS extender for its compiled programs.
Windows provides DPMI (Dos Protected Mode Interface) to any dos programs,
but under pure dos you need another program to do it for you. CWSDPMI.exe
works automatically if you have it in your path somewhere. There's now a
link to cwsdpmi.exe on the peu page, but I'm not sure if its the latest
version.
