[ Robert J. Zydenbos ] >So I use plain DOS and Lynx on the provider's system, to get some >speed on my 486 and because it really works. This also means that >there are numerous web sites which tell me *nothing*, because *all* >the information is given in graphical form, which I can't read. I hear ya man; I have no internet connection at home, just Juno (dialup email). I use W3MAIL to get web pages, and that has the same problems as using Lynx. [ Nate Brooman ] >You should live in a proper bl**dy country then pal Just because you are lucky enough to have a fast Internet connection and a nice computer doesn't mean that anyone still using a 486 & Lynx is a loser. This mailing list is international; you have to keep in mind that people don't have the same stuff as you. You gotta be sensitive to their situations, not just blow em off. Please keep stuff like this off the list. Yo! I didn't say that! I use my other comp, a 486 a lot! Sorry if I caused any trouble, but I'm just saying POPULATE CANADA! Such a big country, such a puny population. Anyways, from now on, Euphoria talk from me! - Nate P.S. Anyone know what the flame sign is to start a fight on the net? I wanna mail some spamming bastard a "nice surprise". -----Original Message----- From: Buddy Hyllberg <budmeister1 at JUNO.COM> To: EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU <EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU> Date: August 4, 1998 12:50 PM Subject: Lynx & India >[ Robert J. You are no advertising for Canada, bl**dy trust me.. (censored: for internation use) >P.S. Anyone know what the flame sign is to start a fight on the net? Eventhough at the time you may see things as 'truth' and (wishfully) believe everything nice about Canada, and also like to point that out, you will regret it at a certain moment. Its interesting to (finally) notice how Ive annoyed people for years. Euphoria community: sorry. Ralf Nieuwenhuijsen nieuwen at xs4all.nl
