If I may put in a word about the proposed FAQ:

Yes! *Please don't* use a lot of fancy graphics and so on. I know my
situation won't be like that of the majority, but it's like this:
I work in India, where phone lines are poor, where the internet
provider is whimsical, where I can't reach high line speeds, and where
I still am not using a GUI browser because my provider insists that
I should use Win95 and gives me only software settings for W95
software which I don't know how to fit into the software which I do
have.

So I use plain DOS and Lynx on the provider's system, to get some
speed on my 486 and because it really works. This also means that
there are numerous web sites which tell me *nothing*, because *all*
the information is given in graphical form, which I can't read.

Maybe there are others out there in a situation similar to mine?
