1. Neural Networks
Not to get your hopes up, but I beleive I know a lab that is in the market for a
neural network. Thusly, they may purchase such a product (albeit they dont have
much money to spend on such an item), and/or may test it on real data sets.
The labs main focus is genetics, but it has a statistics(?) department
associated with it for the math. I'm not sure exactly what it involves, my
brother works for them, and he was intimating that they could really use a
program such as an NN which was less than $200K, _and_ worked.
