1. Reading/Writting to Fox Pro 2.x table

I'm a software developer here in Cebu, Philippines. I'm using Clipper 5 and
planning to shift to Euphoria since there is no more support from CA.

I'm using Fox Pro 2.x tables to store data. Does anyone have a library I can use
so that I can convert my Clipper programs to Euphoria and still use Fox Pro
tables.

It would be nice if the library will include data manipulation routines similar
to XBase like SKIP, SEEK, REPLACE, SET INDEX/ORDER and others like @...GET
functionality.

Thanks in advance,
Arlie

Daniel Berstein wrote some routines awhile back that allows you to
access .DBF files from Euphoria, maybe this would be of some help,
you can find these routines in the RDS Archives at:

Thanks for the propaganda Rev. ;)

One little note:

I developed that librarary 3 years ago (wow, time flyies!), and my email
has changes since then. If you need support for the library, email me to
daber at pair.com. Included on the zip file is the DBF file structure I used
to code the library, with time you can enhance it.

Your applications are for plain DOS? I believe I can do a win32 DLL for DBF
files soon if you need it.

Yeeesssss! Please, if you could do this, it would be great!
I've been asked to write a member administration program for
a non-commercial club, with the original data files being in
DBF format. This would help me a lot, especially if you
could incorporate this in an upcoming release of Visual
Euphoria.

TIA,
Ad Rienks.

PS I hope this email will come through in 80 characters
per line, since I've added CR/LF <ENTER> to every line.
I used to have the same problems Ray Smith discussed.
