Very nice, thank you! There is another little issue, though: Currently, there are many "Guest"s in my e-mail client, including yourself. While on the message board the 'From:' header field for instance contains "rds at RapidEuphoria.com", the same message when it comes to me by mail, in the 'From:' header field just contains "Guest <guest at RapidEuphoria.com>". The actual sender only can be seen in the mail body, behind the term 'posted by', but not in the "overview pane" of my mail client, where only Subject, From, Size, and Date of the mails are shown. This only seem to happen with messages directly written on the message board, while messages sent to EUforum by mail apparently contain the relevant information in the 'From' field on the message board _and_ when distributed by mail. Regards, Juergen

But I also see many "Guest"s listed in emails sent out from the message board, so I'm wondering if it's still too difficult to have them sent out directly from the message board instead of thru topica? Check again. I fixed that several hours ago. The "From:" address, when sent from the message board, now shows, for example: John Smith <guest at RapidEuphoria.com> instead of: Guest <guest at RapidEuphoria.com> so you should see "John Smith" in your e-mail client. John Smith's correct address (partially obscured) is shown by "Posted By:". When sent via Topica it will show the true address as usual, with no "Posted By". Regards, Rob Craig RDS

Rob: Bad idea! Now your posting e-mail addresses on Topica. Even if a user is not subscribed at Topica. Bernie

Sorry 'bout that. Dan

The latest "idea" was to replace: From: Guest <guest at RapidEuphoria.com> with: From: Bernie Ryan <guest at RapidEuphoria.com> so people will see your name (but not your address) in their e-mail client header information. A partly concealed version of your address also appears in the body, but that's been happening for weeks now with few complaints. -- Rob Craig RDS
