1. blinking cursor
this is more of a video bios question than a euphoria question but
anyway... does anyone know if you can get a text mode cursor to just
be solid instead of blinking??

yes I know if you can get a text mode cursor to be solid, what's more, yes
you can, least I've seen it done before. Too bad I dunno how to do it...

I check the ega/vga chip registers and I found no way to stop the blinking.
But you can make it invisible and create your own solid cursor by software.
