Just found out that the current version of Euphoria at =
ftp://garbo.uwasa.fi is v1.4b (see /pc/programming).
I understand that Garbo is a widely consulted server, and a primary =
recommended ftp site for several current programs, such as the F-Prot =
antivirus. Can this be corrected? People who find Euphoria for the first =
time might get a wrong and very outdated idea.

Garbo used to be a very popular site,
but my understanding is that it's now essentially dead.
Just look at the dates on most of the files.

Last check(er, 1998), the newest version of Euphoria on AOL was 1.4...they
even bothered to keep _1.2_!!!

Same problem. Fortunately, some download sites are up to date (e.g.
http://download.cnet.com, http://www.zdnet.com,
http://www.twocom.com./freeware/), though most ignore the Linux version.
