I've been dabbling in Euphoria for over a year now and I've got to say Euphoria has a lot going for it. Unfortunately, no matter what I do I THINK in pointers and, while I completely understand sequences and the way they work, my brain can't visualize them. I was wondering if any of you might know of a free, win32 compilable, currently maintained, that uses pointers, language that would do for most any uses? Any other suggestions are welcom also. Thank you for your time and advice. Bryce Byrd

I really cut my teeth on Euphoria, so moving the other languages that use objects and pointers has really put me on a steep learning curve. I've been dabbling in PHP lately and its been pretty rough, since its a lot more like C or Java than Euphoria. Last time I checked, C was still free. Borland has a nice free C/C++ compiler, or are you looking for a bit more, like an IDE, etc? Check out http://www.hotscripts.com/ for a lot of good tips and free code and apps for almost all popular languages.
