1. Neil2, Neilw?

Hello,

Pete E, when can we expect to see Neil2 come out?
I don't mean to be pushy but I just can't wait to be able
to program in Neil again. Remember my video card doesn't
support VESA graphics. I'm waiting ;)

later,
Lewis Townsend

Lewis (and Mike and others),

I don't know when Neil2 will be released... I hate writing vapor-ware, but
I just can't seem to find the time to work on it. And my pc at home is
kinda screwed at the moment. Under Win98, my pcmcia-to-pci driver and
graphics card driver cause the machine to spontaneously reboot on startup
or when I press the space bar (sometimes it's any other keys too) Grrrr...
so I have to decide between having no internet or just 16-colors display.
Internet wins.

Development on Neil2 will require more than 16 colors.. I'll prioritize
Neil2 and see if I can't get something you can use. If you want to send me
your list of top features you need I could focus on those as well.

   Pete:

This problem could be a video driver conflict problem. Are you using

latest win98 video driver from the card manufacture ( not window CD )

and why are you using pcmcia-to-pci driver ? A remote possibilty

could be bad memory maybe you could run a memory test.

You might want to check your bias. Look for pci/vga pallette snoop

and if it is ON turn it OFF or vice-versa.

  Bernie
