i downloaded new version of ee:cs euphoria editor.
why does exe program when you run it unzip code to=20
windows dir?=20
to windows\source and windows\docs and something else will maybe be =
found there...
why is it at all exe, just zip it

It's a self-extracting zip file. But i agree, i prefer a .zip, so i can see
what's in it and
decide for myself where things go.

Sorry you guys have had so much trouble with the Self extractor. sad

You can decide where things go by putting the self extractor in an empty
folder (which is what I recommend anyway), running it there and moving the
files to where you want them.

The 5 release is the first release with folders built in rather than
everything being in the same archive folder.

The reason I don't release EE:CS in zip form is because it's about 60k
larger as a .ZIP file. (I use something called Rar to create it). And I
don't want to take up much more room on Rob C's web space.
