It's difficult for individual authors to start accepting payments and be
responsible for distributing software. That was one main reason I consider
it's important for RDS to be involved. RDS's involvment will also make it
more official.

My thoughts about how the survey "could" work:

1. Determine if enough people are interested in participating in a survey.

2. Determine what features should be included in the survey and the format.

3. Distribute the survey (I was hoping there was some free web based
system we might be able to use). Otherwise it will be someone (I'm willing)
receiving survey results via email and tallying them manually.

4. Reporting the results and discussing possible ways to implement
high priority requests.

5. Possibly in a year (or some time in the future) do it all again!!

For me what it comes down to is:
* Euphoria lacks libs and features in a few areas (major areas)
* there are people on the list who I beleive are able to fill these
gaps (and currently some are being filled)
* Lets do something official with more incentives for the authors
to produce commercial quality code, hence benefiting "everyone".
