1. Hi :) I'm Back :)
been really really busy last couple months, (heh, year? heh)
and i have not been able to view/reply the EU list...
i'm back now, i hope, at least for a while, and i've been
taking a look at all the new stuff (havent DL'd or tried any
yet cuz i have to be -real- carefull about bandwidth for a while
still) that is now available...
ya'll been doing good :)
linux seems to be going along nicely, and win32's and even gameing
is taking on some nice status (pete's 3dRPG looks nice, for one)
i been tinkering around with BEOS as i feel its our next logical
step for support...and i've been tinkering with createing a MMRPG
based in an undetermined OS still...
beos will compile most unix code with little modification, BUT,
it wont take advantage of any of beos's -true- power unless its
coded from the drawing board...
if anyone is considering/porting EU to BeOS, lets start a thread eh? :)
and if anyone is considering/createing a MMrpg, lets start another
thread, eh? :)
this list is too quiet, i'll fix that ;)

Well the first question I woul have is what is a MM RPG? I know what an RPG
is but what the heck is a MM on? Is that like Might and Magic-ish? Just
curious.

ie: more then 16 people like u might find on IPX
MUDs (and the like) were the first MMRPG's
but were text based... however, in this day,
MMRPG is used much more frequently to denote
-graphical- games in their context... ultima online,
asherons call, the upcoming anarchy online are
but a few examples...
