1. Euphoria for Windows?

Does anyone ever heard of such a thing? It seems that Euphoria would
have been a pretty simple, and maybe even trivial, for Windows
programming, like Basic, but it's object handling would be pretty
handy for GUI environments. Does anyone know if there is a Euph for
Win, or can the programs still be written provided that you enter all
the gooey functions as in-line assemly code? Writing a library of
such things in assembly is just busy work if you know how, I just want
to know if there is a chance that Euph would compile that monstrosity
or maybe there already is a patch with all that.

Hi Mikhail (from russia?),
Don't panic... RDS is working 32 hours a day to finish the Win32
version of Euphoria (no.. there is no Euphoria for win 3.x). This
version of Euphoria will be compatible with the DOS version so you
don't have to rewrite your code. The GUI stuff will be supported via
DLL's provided either by RDS or 3rd parties. Yes, you'll be able to
call DLL's so you can use windows API and any other DLL!
Cool he ;)

3. Euphoria for Windows?

Wow, what's this I'm hearing? EUPHORIA for Windows? Would this be
something like an editor for .ex or .e files or something that would allow
me to make Windows apps?(or am I completely wrong here?) Well in either
case it would be great(especially the latter).
Good Luck Robert,
Vic.

yea one question i have about this proposed euphoria for windows...
is this going to be a euphoria windows editor or a full-blown window
euphoria language supporting object oriented programming and all
that?? i mean i don't really see a whole lot of point in a windows
editor if their still just gonna be run as 16-bit apps in a dos
window, but on the other hand i don't want a window version of
euphoria for fear that the dos version won't be supported as much
anymore... anyway just my two cents :>... ttyl
