Would be interesting to start a Euphoria chat room, if enough people could agree on a time to be in there, and of course we can find a web site supporting chats that we could use (should be many out there). Chat times could be once a week, or something like that, and the time would have to be translated to the many time zones so nobody would get the wrong time. --Al

Actually, I think having several chat sessions scheduled throughout the day might be more appropriate.... with the room really open at all times. Prospective chatters might sign up for certain chat sessions.... this is simply to let each other know when you are most likely to find someone logged on for chat. Web chats take java or javascript, right? i won't be there. The Eu irc channel died from lack of use after a month. Kat

I have a few web servers. I wouldn=92t mind putting a chat service on one. What would be interesting (at least to me) is if someone could right the server/client software completely in Euphoria. My 2 cents. -----Original Message----- From: Euphoria Programming for MS-DOS [mailto:EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU]On Behalf Of jag Sent: Friday, January 12, 2001 8:29 PM To: EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU Subject: Re: Euphoria Chat Room i'm up for that! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Al Getz" <xaxo at AOL.COM> To: <EUPHORIA at LISTSERV.MUOHIO.EDU> Sent: Friday, January 12, 2001 1:21 AM Subject: Euphoria Chat Room > Would be interesting to start a Euphoria chat room, if enough people > could agree on a time to be in there, and of course we can find a web > site supporting chats that we could use (should be many out there). > Chat times could be once a week, or something like that, and the > time would have to be translated to the many time zones so nobody > would get the wrong time. > > --Al
