1. List going down
This mailing list will be going down in 8 1/2 hours,
starting at 8:00am Pacific time (11:00am Eastern).
It's expected to be down for 10 to 12 hours.
I think this is the last of a series of unusual shutdowns
needed to upgrade Topica's hardware and software.
Normally they go down once a month.

They must have some super hardware, if they need so
much time for installing it. (HAL? )

This mailing list will go down in about 10 hours from now
(at 11:00am Eastern time). The Topica Web site is moving
to a bigger host machine to boost performance.
It may be down for 24 hours or more.
No flames please!
