1. An apology to Derek

Hello again Derek,

What happened, as sometimes does, your post snuck in there while I was writing
my post. I did not read your post or even know that you had posted at the time my
post was posted. Sorry for the screw up. I think we should come up with a name
for this kind of situation, a Round Robin or something, any ideas?

Or how about another yet another reason for a forum format ( smile )

Well the same thing happens in forums, too, within a thread. On one forum I'm on
it's called "simu" or "simu-ninja" for "simultaneous posting".

As in "Derek simued Don and everyone got confused." or "Derek went all
simu-ninja on Don." Or most likely, Don would curse the simu-ninjas that enabled
he and Derek to post at the same time.

Les Rogers is changing the Subject Line each time he replys
to a post which breaks and changes the threads to the next post.
That defeats the purpose of trying to follow a thread on a post
and messes up the archive threads.

Actually this is true but I try to overlook because he is faily new.

The original sumi-nija post was to Dekek and I probably should have just stayed
out it.

But many times I have seen posts to a specific party and that party does not
come on line for a week or two. Or someone else buts in and answers the post.
Which I like if I am in a hurry to get answers. I guess this is why it's called a
forum. I take all this very tongue in cheek and I hope nobody gets offended. smile

Actually, from my point of view, what happened was that you didn't 'address'
your remarks. Normally with forum posts, when replying, one includes a portion of
the post one is replying to, if only it is the person's name one is replying to,
in order to indicate what you are replying to.

Your remarks were bald. In that there was no identification in your reply post
about what you were replying to. One cannot just rely on the "subject" line or
knowledge of who was the initiating author.

If people include some quoted text from the post they are replying to, the order
that people post replies in doesn't matter so much.
