Alright all, I'm in the process of writing a DDJ article, although I'll be sitting on it for a while (for a number of reasons) once I'm done. In it, I want to mention some of the ways in which Euphoria is already being used in the marketplace, or for serious personal application. Does anyone have any examples of: 1) Commercial applications on the market written in Eu (shrink-wrapped, shareware, etc.?) 2) A corporate application of Eu (ex.: your business uses an internally-written database --or even EDS--to manage your customer list.) 3) A high-profile or demanding personal application of Eu (ex.: you've used it to write and maintain a constantly-online web server, as well as to write all your server scripts.) Thanks for any help you guys can give! Rod Jackson

It handles a couple thousand customers and many thousand transactions every month without any problems. The clients are pleased with the performance and reliability - far superior to their previous dbase system. Regards, Irv

------=_NextPart_001_0000_01C1AAB1.41EDA070 I don't suppose there's any way I could see any of that source, is there? I've been considering doing the same thing with my company. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jonas Temple Subject: RE: Commercial Eu Software? Rod, I just finished (more or less) a Windows app that connects to our company's IBM AS/400 to allow us to our client base for a productivity software that we're marketing for the AS/400. It uses 100% Euphoria interfacing to IBM Client Access database APIs. I also created a multi-user app that allows a job-based shop (like a carpet/flooring store) to record quotes/job completions/rejections. I created EDS/Net for that and a Windows interface. Neither are what I would call "shrink wrapped" but I think are legitimate apps.
