Hi Jordah,

If you are using a windows program...then why don't you try my DIB 
sections code on the contributions page. I did a test with drawDib() 
against stretchBlt() and the DIB routine is faster but more 
special-purpose and has some limitations. Still, it will "zoom" images. 
I have made a new demo for the DIB code which zooms in & out and I'll 
send it to the contributions page in a couple of days.

Oops! I wrote stretchBlt() but I should have written stretchDibBits()
