Welcome to Euphoria. Get David Cuny's EE editor, or get Carl White's EE:CS editor, which is a modified version of EE. Stay away from the windows stuff until you are comfortable with the language. Download, examine, and modify everything you can get your hands on. Start small. Start by making a program that just exits when you press a key. Modify that program to print some text, and then wait for you to press a key and exit. Modify that to print some text, and wait for you to type a word and then exit. Keep going like this, and you will soon have a good grasp of how to do what you want. Use Refman, html and library.html often. I open them daily and I have been using euphoria for a few years now :) Don't be afraid to ask questions here. That is what this forum is for. There's usually someone who can give you an answer here.
