Doesn't exactly look trivial. There's some sample code at http://support.microsoft.com/directory/article.asp?ID=KB;EN-US;Q139098 I also downloaded a VB example from MSDN that was supposed to show me input and output levels but it didn't work... But this is why i pulled the sound card and disconnected the internal speaker,, and cut the traces to the modem beeper.
